In the centre of Maastricht you will find the Historical Printing Museum and the Glaser Collection. The charming museum is located in a 19th-century house with an inner courtyard and a chapel building. Here you will find a unique historic printing establishment dating from 1900. The chapel has various exhibitions with the focus of the art of printing.
During the tour, you are treated to a historic overview of the art of printing – with the help of various materials and tools – ranging from the first bookblocks to etchings by Rembrandt and litho prints by Toulouse Lautrec. Several old printing presses are still operational.
Besides the historical art of printing, the museum has an exclusive collection of modern art, that consistst of graphic art, drawings and objects in the characteristic style of the artist Renι Glaser.

For groups, only by appointment, every day except Sundays, throughout the year.
